WELTA-PERLE

Installation. Camera, miniature computer,
frame, specific software. 2020.

When the viewer approaches the camera (a 1937 Welta-Perle), an injunction appears in the frame asking him to "stop moving". Then the shutter is released and a randomly selected photographic caption appears. These descriptions refer to possible, but in any case lost, images that would have been captured by this camera manufactured in Germany from 1932 to 1939.
