Résistance

Wood, metal, screen, computer, electromechanics. 160 cm

"Resistance" speaks of what lasts in spite of everything, of what doesn't "pass" despite our will. It's a clock that punctuates time, the duration of things we don't want: "the indifference that settles in", "what's been taken from us", "what we'll always miss" are just some of the proposals that appear on the screen. What also endures is our resistance, our continual struggle in the face of the inevitability of what cannot be resolved. Each of these sentences shatters against the frame of the clock with the sound of breaking glass. This noise is that of our resistance, which also gives rhythm to the time of our lives.
